HVAC Inspections
RJF Environmental Consulting will thoroughly check for mold (fungal) contamination or bacteria on coils, blower wheels, fiberglass insulation, ductwork supply and or return registers.
RJF Environmental will conduct a HVAC inspection that includes general condition of the unit, condition of the liner, intake, dampers, coils, drain pans, and fan belts. We will also inspect the distribution of air from ductwork and check for any leakage at seams. RJF Environmental Consulting Services uses the EPA’s guidelines and grading system.
Air Handler / Duct Cleaning & Disinfection
The cleaning of your HVAC’s evaporator coils increases the efficiency of your HVAC system by 30-50%. While the cleaning will also extend the life of your HVAC system it will also decreases energy consumption, microbial growth and other airborne particles that can be affecting your indoor mold remediation.
The duct system acts as a respiratory system to your building or home. When it becomes contaminated or congested it needs to be cleaned so it can “breathe” normally. Our indoor environmentalists check for dust, dirt, pollen, animal dander and other airborne contaminants that are pulled into your HVAC system every time the air conditioner runs. Over time, they build up inside your ductwork, making your aid duct system a breeding ground for mold spores, bacteria, fungus, mildew and other microbes, which are then re-circulated through your home or office, impacting the health and comfort of those breathing the air.
